Clan Mereel was a Mandalorian clan.

History[]

No other Clan has produced as many great Generals and Leaders than the Mereel, and they know it. Ironically, none of the Great Leaders that have been declared Mandalore have come from the Mereel Clan. This fact perplexes them, as well as annoys. Mandalore the First was an enigma, his origins unknown, so the Mereel claim him form their Clan, but they can't prove it. Mereels are careful and thoughtful, always analyzing situations and looking at the best tactical advantage. Even outside of military duties, Mereels can be a bit exacting and precise. Other Clans, while respecting thier skills, tend to think of the Mereels as "bossy" and having "a force pike up their rears." Mereels don't find this amusing.

One note, even though considered a great leader, Jaster Mereel's status as a true Mandalore is in question due to his reign during the Mandalorian Civil War. This does not diminish his greatness as a leader or any reason not to give the respect as any Mandalore would deserve.

Dress[]

Mereels are neat clean and orderly in dress and appearance. Like the Ghents, their dress tends to be a netural color with a bold Highlight. The Highlight color tends to be a primary color. Of all the Clans, the Mereel is not shy about displaying their ranks and medals/awards. This only adds to their view of being "stuck-up" with the other Clans, not that the Mereel care about this point.

Clan Relationships[]

Dala[]

Good. Really find the abilities and skill of the defensive minded Dala useful, and keep these Clan members close to them to advise on security and defensive matters.

Ghent[]

Neutral. If there was one group that the Mereel wished it had better relationships with, it's the Ghents. Their skills in combat and special missions make them second to none, it's just hard to get a Ghent to play along. Ghents that belong to a Mereel's inner circle are considered "heirlooms".

Ordo[]

Neutral. Really respect the tenacity and combat abilities of the Ordo, they just wish they were more subtle than a Bantha in a crystal vendor than they are. Shysa - Good. The skills and abilities of the Shysa are greatly valued for Mereel commanders. The infiltration and spying skills are an important element for Mereel to formulate effective plans.
