The Death Watch, also known as Kyr'tsad or simply the Watch, was a Mandalorian reactionary movement that perpetually fought for primacy throughout Mandalorian history. Their primary goal was to return the Mandalorians to their ancient roots as legendary warriors, and they advocated the savage raider mentality of the old crusaders.

The primary SWRP Death Watch group was founded by Shiva Vayne. Shiva held the ruling position of Overlord until he was usurped by Darth Dolusian. However, Darth Dolusion soon abandoned the Death Watch and the role of Overlord remained vacant until being claimed by Niall Lone. At some point, Niall Lone disappeared and Bre Vizsla took leadership of the Death Watch. Years later, the Death Watch splintered apart and its Watchers scattered. The Death Watch was eventually reformed by Lone as a reactionary movement to the invasion of Mandalore by the Dark Lords of the Sith. The Death Watch led a military campaign to reclaim the Mandalore Sector. Lone effected the formal dissolution of the Death Watch when he defeated Mand'alor the Oathmaker in single combat and claimed the title of Mand'alor.
