BiographyEdit

Early Life/ChildhoodEdit

I was on the planet Coruscant. This is my story.

Some of my first memories were playing in the yard with my family. My older brother, my Mother, and my Father. But there is one day I remember well. The day my life changed forever.

It was early morning, everyone was just getting up to start the day. Everything seemed normal from my 3 year old eyes, Mom was making breakfast, and Dad and my brother were talking. Then it happened. Mandalorian Mercenaries busted down our door and came in blasters blazing, dad started shouting, and our robots went into combat mode, surrounding and protecting us. we started to retreat to the back door, while the droids did their best to hold off the mando's. they failed. I got separated from the rest of my family somehow, and crawled into a small locker to hide. I could hear the mando's outside, yelling in their native language, and I heard an airspeeder fly away. I crawled out and ran up the the nearest Mandalorian, and started kicking and punching his leg, yelling at him to leave my family alone. He looked down laughed at me, then picked me up by my shirt.

He adopted me into the Mandalorian culture.

That Mandalorian was named Jang of the clan Fett, and he was my adopted father for the next seven years. He raised me as a Mandalorian, and trained me well. I was always the best fighter of all the other kids on Mandalore.

Around my 10th birthday, he took me to the doctor for a routine check-up and blood sample. The doctor found high concentrations of Midi-clorians in my blood. My adopted father was furious, and he kicked me out, and I couldn't understand why. I later learned that it was because his whole family had been killed by a Jedi and Sith battle, and he blamed it on anyone with anything to do with the force. Including me.

I spent the next 2 years of my life as a scavenger, digging through trash dumps for a few credits to buy just enough food to survive. One day in my digging, I found a real treasure, the hull of an old Firespray-31 Patrol/Attack Craft. there wasn't a single system working on it, but for the next 6 months I toiled away, finding parts, fixing, patching, repairing, and one by one I got the systems running again. first the repulsorlifts, which helped me, cause i then had faster transportation to different dumps. eventually i finally got enough systems running to get off that planet with so many bad memories.

Joining the New Order of the JediEdit

I wandered around the galaxy for a few days, then headed for Ruusan, where i had heard that there were people who could train me to use the force.

After several tests and interviews, I was accepted into the New Order of the Jedi, and was trained by Jedi Knight Vilda Kazyanenko. He was a great master and I learned many things from him.

Sortly after Joining the NOJ, I lost my left arm when my Blaster exploded when I attempted to fire it.

Trouble with SithEdit

But, as my training progressed, a Sith used an Ability called Sith Alchemy to create a force bond between her and my master, and he became obsessed with getting rid of it. He tried everything he could think of, but nothing he did worked. Eventually, with no where else to turn, he went to Korriban, to see if a sith could get rid of it. His search eventually let him to Darth Dolor, who gave him several options, none of them pleasant. but in return, he had to do something for her. He was commanded to blow up the temple on Ruusan. He secretly placed a bomb on the temple, I sensed it through our master/padawan bond, but i arrived too late. luckily no one was harmed. Vilda then went back to Dolor, and informed her that the deed was done, and Dolor began the process of removing the force bond. She tortured him to death, then healed his body and pulled his force essence back into his body. After that he wasn't quite the same. Dolor had, in the process of pulling Vilda's essence into his body, put a bit of dark essence into him to, driving him insane, yelling at younglings, attacking fellow knights, and poisoning padawans.

My Master's FallEdit

Eventually he was able to get Dolor's evil out of his head, but the damage was already done. the NOJ arrested him, and locked him up in preparation for his trial. I was visiting with Vilda when a man named Wild Cote, who was one of Vilda's friends from Onderon, came, and said he had instructions from the council to move Vilda to Polis Massa. I should have sensed something was wrong. Wild delivered his friend back to Dolor, and Dolor turned Vilda to the dark side.

Meanwhile, my training had been completed, and I had become a knight at the young age of 18. I volunteered to be part of the team assigned to track down and arrest Vilda.

RevelationEdit

On one of my missions, I ran into Vilda. knowing i couldn't take him alone, I made no effort to arrest him. He told me he had tracked me down because he had discovered something very interesting. Through research and a blood test, it was revealed that he was my long lost brother! I was shocked. this couldn't be true, all my life i had thought my family had all gotten killed! No matter how much i didn't want to believe it, i could sense he was telling the truth. He told me how when Dolor had turned him, some suppressed memories had surfaced. Now I was even more determined to turn him back to the light.

Vilda's Return to the LightEdit

After many attempts to arrest him, he hid on Vjun to escape us from arresting him. until his old master, Dracona, got killed, in a accident involving a evil clone of Dracona, and his Force Ghost went to Vilda, pleading him to help him by using a special ritual to bind his force ghost with another one of his clones, and Vilda reluctantly agreed.

They met on Ruusan to do the binding at the Nexus, and I sensed Vilda's arrival, and I went to the Nexus, planning to arrest him, but then I saw what was going on, and lent my energy to help my brother. we finished successfully, but Vilda had lost too much energy, and was dying. Despite his protests, I began pour life-giving force energy into him. He continued to protest, but he began to regain his energy, but I began to lose mine. I went unconsious for a while, and i woke up on a medical bed at the hospital, and I convinced Vilda to stay and rejoin the Jedi.

Vilda rejoined the NOJ, but the Council made him restart his training from the beginning. Being forced into being a Padawan again was too much for him, and he had been receiving offers to join other Jedi Orders, at the same position he was before he went to the Dark Side. He accepted an offer by an order that was just getting started, based on Coruscant, The Order of the Jedi Covenant, as a Council Knight.

Leaving the NOJ, and Joining the Order of the Jedi CovenantEdit

Soon after, I became restless in my position on Ruusan. Meditating and Sparring were my daily routines, and I was becoming tired of it. I left the NOJ and Joined the Covenant. Soon after, one of the Founders of the Covenant, Sir Jilea, went to the Dark Side, leaving an open spot on the Jedi Council, and my brother nominated me. I was accepted into the Covenant Council.

Retirement and a FamilyEdit

Following the collapse of the Jedi Covenant, I returned to my home on Corellia, removing myself from the galactic stage and contenting myself to being the Watchman of my home sector, aiding in local law enforcement.

During this time, I met a man named James Tavik, a detective with CorSec. Over the course of several missions together where I was aiding CorSec, we fell in love. Nine months later, I had a child, a daughter, who we named Zeva Tavik Tebut. This brief happy time in my life didn't last however, as the Sith were on the rise once more, and I knew I had to leave. I left my daughter with James, and returned to Ruusan.

Return to the Galactic StageEdit

I rejoined the New Order of the Jedi, and took a Padawan, Caine Orikan. Caine has since been promoted to Knight.

During this time I also founded the megacorporation Star Industries, in preparation for the war with the sith I knew was on the horizon, and began constructing a fleet in secrecy.

The Dual PersonasEdit

I was captured and tortured by Darth Lilith, as revenge for defeating and capturing Lilith previously. During the process of the torture, Lilith poured so much dark side energy into me, that my mind snapped into two personalities under the strain. I was rescued, and the second, Dark personality, remained dormant for a time.

During last battle I participated in, the Shadow Jys took control, and came very close to killing her opponent, the only thing stopping her being my former padawan, Caine. When he stepped in to stop Shadow Jys, she turned against him. The Jedi then attempted to speak to Jys, but were unsuccessful in helping me back into control, and were forced to capture her. They took her to Moonbase Omega (the prison of the NoJ, in a secret location), where Jedi Master Yashamaru Fazuku and Caine helped Jys' good persona (me) back into control. After a short period during which I was held for observation, I was released.

After some time had passed, the Shadow, after learning from its many failed attempts to harm beings while in control, the attempts to harm always resulting in my return to control, when she next got control, she didn't attack, she retreated. She fled to Nar Shaddaa, and put out a call in the Force to darksiders and sith galaxy over, requesting aid. One answered, one extremely powerful one, possibly the most powerful Sith of all time. Known only as Pyrrho, he helped Shadow remove me from my own mind, and bound me to my lightsabers.

The Death of JysEdit

Shadow Jys then returned to Ruusan, to kill Jys' former padawan Caine, and Jys' older brother Vilda. A battle ensued, and Shadow Jys was struck down, killed by a simultaneous strike from Caine and Vilda.

RecoveryEdit

When the Shadow Jys was killed, that which bound me to my lightsabers failed, and I escaped. I was unable to rejoin with the Force, I was trapped in some sort of a limbo state. Until I somehow woke up with some of my memories missing (without my realizing it), in a cloning tank in a medical facility, empty save a single Medical Droid who refused to answer any of my questions. I found a ship in the hangar, with locked-in coordinates, which took me on a series of jumps that led back to Ruusan.

I arrived back during my own cremation ceremony, just in time to see my old body burned. It was a rather surreal experience. I explained what had happened as best I knew, and after several days of physical, mental, and Force exams, I was deemed fully recovered, and welcomed back with open arms.

Elevation to Jedi MasterEdit

"When I was knighted, it was the greatest day of my life. After facing the challenges brought on by my Former Master's fall to the dark side, the discovery that he was my brother, and his eventual return to the light, the Force led me to Coruscant to aid the Jedi Covenant there. Since then, the Force has led me back to Ruusan and the NoJ. When I came back to Ruusan after so long, I felt like I was back to my home, where I belonged. It was a time of great joy, and of sadness. Joy, to see how the Order has grown and changed during the time I was gone, and sadness at how many good Jedi were lost along the way. We have since grown even greater than we were. Now, as I stand before you all, my fellow Jedi, my family in the New Order of the Jedi, I vow to continue to stand for Peace and Justice in this Galaxy, to continue to stand with you and hold back the floodgates of darkness, as the Jedi of old did, and as the Jedi of the future will continue to do. I am humbled by the honor you have bestowed upon me, and I will not let you down, now, or ever."

A short time after my recovery from the Shadow Jys incident, I was called to a meeting with the Jedi Council. There, I was granted the honor of being elevated to the rank of Jedi Master. It was, without a doubt, the greatest moment in my entire life. I gave a speech to the assembled Order afterwards, which I have copied in this holocron.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Weapons Expert: Jys is highly skilled in many forms of weaponry, due to her Mandalorian upbringing.

Genius-level Intellect: Jys possesses Genius-level intelligence, which she uses primarily to develop new technologies.

Multilingual: Jys is fluent in several languages around the galaxy. Languages she knows include; Basic, Mando'a, Huttese, and Shyriiwook (understood, not spoken).

Known Force PowersEdit

Telekinesis, Force Jump, Force Speed, Force Absorb, Force Barrier, Force Repulse, Shatterpoint, Force Sight, Battle Precognition, Breath Control, Alter Environment, Ray, Phase, Force Concealment, Force Cloak, The abilities of the Jedi Paladins, Pyrokinesis, Battlemind, Force Light.

Cybernetic EnhancementsEdit

Thought Process Enhancer: This implant isn't passive like most others, it is active-use. By triggering a specific series of neurons, she is able to activate or deactivate them. Speeds up the electrical pulses in her brain, allowing her to think faster. It doesn't make her any smarter, however. When active, it speeds up her mental processing to the point where everything appears to be moving in super slow motion (including herself, unless she uses Force Speed at the same time). When in this state, conversation is difficult as she talks at a hyperaccelerated speed. When deactivating the implant, she experiences large amounts of nausea, dizziness, and exhaustion for a time following her hyperactive state. Extended use of the thought enhancers can burn out the mind, leading to mental damage, and possibly death.

EquipmentEdit

Custom Holo-interface: Functions as a general purpose scanner, along with the common features in a datapad. Also serves as a Comlink, capable of receiving and transmitting over huge distances, and while in hyperspace transit. Can do real-time translating of unknown languages through Jys' headset.

Energy Shield: Capable of blocking blasterfire, slugthrower slugs, Force Lightning, Lightsaber blows and other forms of energy-based and physical attacks. Can withstand many hits, and can be used as a stun weapon.

DL-44 Blaster Pistol: Jys also carries a restored and upgraded DL-44 Heavy Blaster pistol.

LightsaberEdit

Main Saber Crystal (Color Crystal): Hurrikaine, gives the blade a Purple coloring, and makes the saber very good at penetrating defenses.

Power Crystal #1: Jys' Specially Attuned Crystal, makes the saber only work for Jys, and enhances her thought processes when in combat to levels nearing that of of a supercomputer

Power Crystal #2: Jenruax Crystal, Makes the blade swifter, aiding in blaster bolt deflection.
