Mos Entha was a Tatooine-based SWRP sim owned and operated by Richard Salvadori. When opened in January 2011, Mos Entha was originally named as "Tatooine Space Port" (abbreviated as 'TSP') with two regions, the main region of St. Killians and a second region, St. Killans (note the similar name to the first region but with a slightly different spelling).

St. Killians region was built as the main city sim. Although the city initially had no specific name, it was clearly influenced by the canon city of Mos Espa, even featuring a Watto style junkshop.

The second region St. Killans, featured mountains, wide open spaces, sand dunes, caves, a Jawa sandcrawler and fortress and were connected directly to the north of the main city region. The second region was named as The Mospic High Range.

Throughout 2011 as the sim became more popular, TSP was expanded with additional regions, eventually spreading across a total of six regions of varying designs, One of the additional regions contained a second smaller adult-rated town. TSP was also eventually rechristened as Mos Entha around this time and the regions were also subsequently renamed as 'SW Zone's 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 respectively.

It is not fully understood why Mos Entha suddenly ended in 2012 after becoming a highly popular and successful SWRP sim. Speculation and rumor persist of the sim's owners SL account was hacked and the Mos Entha's sims access turned off to all persons by the alleged hackers, although this has never been officially confirmed or denied. Around this same time, a new group of Forest Moon of Endor themed regions (also owned by Richard Salvodori) was also in early development, but were not directly accessible to the public. All the regions, including Mos Entha, were eventually reclaimed by the Lindens.

Mos Entha Background[]

Outside the general area of the spaceport domes, the streets of Mos Entha were much like those of other Tatooine cities. Swoops and speeders could be found darting around such slower moving traffic like dewbacks and rontos. Jawas and traders from hundreds of worlds clogged the streets.

During the Galactic Civil War, Mos Entha was widely regarded as a calm and orderly city, but it was often overshadowed by the Imperial might of Bestine and the crime-laden city of Mos Eisley. Though the city seemed to support itself through moisture farms and some hydroponic gardens, it actually generated income by providing storage facilities for outdated Imperial munitions and hazardous wastes. These storage facilities were placed far beneath the city's streets.

Though the city was safe, it was not entirely devoid of some criminal activities. The Cantina/Casino in Mos Entha, known as the Fallen Star, attracted a number of seedy individuals.

The crime syndicate of Tiro the Hutt had taken a toll on the City through the looting and salvaging of anything and everything it could find. Tiro's syndicate flooded the economy with counterfeit credits and they mined and sold spice in huge quantities, in an effort to cut into the Hutts' share of the Outer Rim.

Tatooine, a sparsely populated planetary system in the Outer Rim plays host to these warring factions, all trying to hold control of a dust and sand filled planet lying under twin suns..but NO faction has complete control of the organized crime in the City of Mos Entha. The struggle has only begun, and the eventual war between them grows closer and closer with each breath.

Mos Eisley's traffic began to switch to Mos Entha after the death of Jabba Desilijic Tiure in 4 ABY. The switch in traffic by the traders and smugglers, combined with an increased amount of tourism due to interest in the home world of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, resulted in Mos Entha becoming something of a model for the modern Tatooine city.

Socio-political[]

One noticeable difference between Mos Entha and other Tatooine cities could be seen in the police force. Mos Entha's law enforcement personnel were described as efficient, courteous and visible. While there was still a fair amount of corruption, it was acknowledged that there was more of a focus on protecting the rights and safeties of residents and visitors rather than lining the pockets of Hutts.

While the government officials drew a respectable salary from the senate and were quite visible, many argued that the real power still lay with organized crime mostly from underlord hutts , space gypsies, spice smugglers, mercenaries, spies, thugs, bounty hunters, and thieves; most looked the other way with regards to their business concerns as long as they did not bring embarrassment to the mayor or police chief.

The year is 220 ABY.
