The New Trade Federation, or NTF, was a separatist government which formed in response to galactic events. The NTF was headed by the Viceroy, a despotic ruler. Each member planet had a Senator who represented the planet and voted on the laws and decision of the Viceroy, though in truth the Senate had always been in the pocket of the Viceroy.

History

Founding

Starting on Zonama Sekot, Viceroy Tak Hakatu (Valliant Vaher) raised using his wealth and connections, a powerful droid army. The commander of his army had been Drake Wade (Giacobbe Swords), a Sith Knight who had apprenticed for Sith Master Evalla Taurog. His key adviser, Prime Minister Ruun Damaku (Orar Braham), had quickly became disillusioned with Viceroy Hakatu's leadership. A coup quickly took place, headed by Minister Damaku, installing Wade as Viceroy of the New Trade Federation.

With assistance from his former Master Evalla, Wade arranged an alliance between the Sith Empire of Byss and the NTF. After making headlines and recruiting a new Commander by the name of Vinrum (Charzon Ormega), the New Trade Federation quickly grew until it was, at it's peak, the largest organization in the galaxy, ruling 15 planets and having a substantial army and navy.

Collapse

The NTF for quite a while had become stagnant after reaching 15 entire systems they had ruled over. While it was politically and militarily dominant, it had also been under pressure from heavy competition of other factions. Eventually, Supreme Commander Vinrum staged a coup against the Viceroy. It failed, though while evading capture the Supreme Commander destroyed much of the communications between the Government and the Army, effectively disbandment it. By the time most of the Army had heard that the NTF did not actually fall that day, it had been too late. Several later attempts by Drake Wade's son Alexander Wade, as well as other son Alastor Wade had been made to revive the New Trade Federation using their father's name and left-over wealth, though to no avail. Ruun Damaku's son Koida Damaku was the last person to attempt to revive the New Trade Federation in 2013.

Hierarchy

The New Trade Federation's own military and bureaucracy was under the direct authority of the Viceroy. The Viceroy made all military appointments, seeked out new member worlds or conquered them himself. Underneath him was the Prime Minister, who assisted with all political actions and world management; along with the Supreme Commander, who personally oversaw the military and carried out the orders of the Viceroy.

Political

The New Trade Federation political system is headed by Viceroy Drake Wade, who heads all political, economic, and foreign affairs. He is also Commander and Chief of the Military. He is followed by the Chairmen of the NTF Senate who would be Lady Evalla of the Obsidion Dominion who calls Senate meetings and keeps track of all senators. A senator is chosen to represent each system within the NTF. This senator is the soul key to acquiring trade, requesting protection, and all other aspects.

The NTF Senate consist of senators from all the systems under NTF control. They decide all trade agreements, alliances, proposing new laws on each system, passing the laws by vote, and handling NTF credits.

The NTF Congress consist of congressmen/women who are leaders of groups within the NTF unrelated to military. They vote on all NTF affairs, propose NTF Laws for all citizens, passing those laws, and handling representation between all factions inside the NTF.

Military

The New Trade Federation military is headed by the Supreme Commander Vinrum, under him were the Navy Commodore and Army Field Commander.

The military had all rights to action taken to defend NTF and ally interests as orderd by the Viceroy himself, a declaration of war can be declared by The Viceroy, but the Senate has power to over rule his choice to take it to a vote, if the vote does not pass, war will still be declared. Skirmishes are allowed as long as The Viceroy or a Commander give the proper order.
