The S-V14 Salvage Droid is specialized in tasks such as welding, cutting, and salvage collection. The droid was originally produced by Serv-O-Droid, Inc. but the company has long since stopped producing this model. The droid was found and repaired by a technician named Celina Valencia to aid her in finding scrap metal and spare parts for starships and speeders in need of repair. Since the droid's initial reactivation, several replicas of the unit have been built and sold to various travelers thoughout the galaxy.

- This is an avatar that can be worn in Second Life.
- The S-V14 avatar comes with a HUD (heads up display) which controls features such as arm extensions and sound. The avatar has a grasping arm, a circular-saw arm, and a welding arc arm and comes with volume controlled sound. It also comes with custom-made a animation which makes the droid hover softly over the ground.
- This droid model has appeared as NPC's (non-player characters) in Knights of the Old Republic named simply "Salvage Droid" and were not interactive aside from emitting a series of electronic chirps.
