Early Life[]

Tucker's earliest memory is that of living behind the Secura Vida brothel in the Lower City of Nar Shaddaa. A kind dancer discovered him one evening and took him into her dressing room, giving him a warm meal and a place to eat. Abandonded by his parents, the streets of Nar Shaddaa are all he's even known. In fact, he doesn't even know his real name- "Tucker Fitch" is the name he and the dancer decided best suited him, and he's stuck with it ever since.
As he grew older, he began accompanying the dancer to work, watching the dancers (though not really understand what was going on) from his favorite perch on the bar. In talking with the spacers and visitors to the brothel, he began to become adored as the little womprat that frequented the brothel. He would listen eagerly to the stories and boasts of the smugglers, enamored with the life of the space pirates that visited. He also became the only seven year old to learn to make a mean Tatooine Sunburn.

Once Tucker was a teenager, he began looking for work. The smugglers found him particularly helpful when looking for work and information, often using spy and eavesdrop on competition for a few credits.
Eventually, this evolved into regular work for not only smugglers, but bounty hunters and all other manner of scum that needed information. Tucker was always willing to take the job so long as no one would get hurt. Her naively believed it when the bounty hunters told him that their marks were only to be captured. The first time Tucker found out that his nature as an informant caused harm to another was when he was asked to spy on a politician. Far removed from the world of Republic senators, Tucker merely thought he was working to follow a man cheating on his wife. What he did not realize was that he was, in fact, tailing a Senator whose wife was quite displeased with his cheating, and also quite wanted his seat on the Senate. Tucker, confirming his adultery, saw on the holonet the next day that a Senator's wife, while deeply in mourning, would take his place in his stead after his mysterious, untimely death. The picture next to the dates of death was that of the man he had been tailing. Tucker was devasted and swore to never again work as informant. Instead, Tucker decided to make his fortune gambling. He eventually became a very sucessful Dejarik player This would have let him out of poverty, if it weren't for the fact that he was a terrible better of swoop races.

Tucker finally did find a way out of the slums while at one of the finals of the Galactic Swoop Competition on Nar Shaddaa. Once again, his racer had lost, and Tucker wanted oh so very much to avoid paying up the money he owed (and did not have) and tried to duck out. In the process, he caught the attention of Nawar'anu . Nawa followed Tucker out, and the two have been friends ever since.
Present Day[]
First Mate Tucker and the Persephone
After meeting Nawa, who was a crew member aboard Captain Sellovet's ship The Persephone at the time, Tucker was asked to join the crew as well. When Captain Sellovet left the ship to deal with personal matters, she left the ship under Nawa's care. Captain Nawa then made Tucker his First Mate, and Tucker has worked hard with his Captain to bring profit and work to the ship and its crew. Tucker has also quit gambling in order to better take care of himself and stay out of trouble for his Captain.
Skills[]
Pickpocket: Tucker spent most of his young life getting by by pick pocketing. He learned from some of the best on Nar Shaddaa, and his small size and slender fingers even today allow him to pick the pockets of even the most accutely aware.
Silver tongue: Tucker prides himself on his ability to talk himself out of most situations. He doesn't enjoy conflict and would much rather find a way out of it if he can.
Slicing & Hacking: The other part of his background rife with thieving is getting into places he doesn't belong. If he can't talk his way into a room, there are always other ways...
Fighting: While working as crew aboard The Persephone, a few other crew members took it about themselves to train Tucker in both hand-to-hand combat and shooting. Tucker now carries his own pistol and can hold his own in a fight.
