The United Imperial Remnant Forces were the remains of the United Imperial Alliance rallied together under the leadership of Mandalorian Alor Nico Fett after the disappearance of the UIA's leader, Lady Widow.
History[]
The United Imperial Remnant Forces were once known as the United Imperial Alliance when it was based on Hoth and Ord Mantell. The United Imperial Alliance was an Imperial Organization led by Lady Widow, after Corruption within the Galactic Alliance had grown larger then ever anticipated. The UIA was founded by Widow and her followers on Imperial Worlds, to fight against the Galactic Alliance. Under its former leadership the United Imperial Alliance believed in being neutral with everyone, a choice that eventually failed with the UIA's war against the Galactic Alliance, as well as commandos from the UIA attacking settlements on Rhen Var.
When Lady Widow vanished form both Ord mnatell and the galactic scene entirely, the UIA fell into disarray as various units from the Empire fought for power among themselves. The bulk of the remaining forces, including all members of the Navy came under the command of the Chiss Grand Moff Miara’ackesht’hawnui. Miara’ackesht’hawnui felt that the troops needed a true figurehead to lead them instead of himself and sought out an audience with the Mandalorian Alor Nico Fett who had once been a key ally to the UIA, as well as the owner of the only Star Destroyer to survive the fragmentation of the UIA. Miara’ackesht’hawnui pledged the loyalty of himself and all who served under him directly to Fett, making it very clear that the loyalty was to Fett alone and not any clan or government he chose to follow.
Reformation under Fett[]
The first steps taken by Nico Fett and Moff Miara’ackesht’hawnui were made to stabilize the UIRF and make it a formidable military once more. The first official order by Fett was for the United Imperial Senate to be offically disbanded, as to make the chain of command a more direct. Fett's second order was for the military to be reorganized into simplified units: merging the Army and Marines into one elite group of soliders for ship-to-ship combat as well as planetary invasion, disbanding the Imperial Knights until a knight would come along that he chose to lead them (eventually Gaan Orar), and to rebuild the UIA Fleet. Fett also had the UIRF headquarters relocated to the old Imperial base on Kalist VI.
Mandalorian lead Fleet[]
After the reformation the UIRF Fleet quickly became the go-to units of Fett's new military. Deploying ships to orbit and defend worlds such as Yavin IV, Kerest, and the Roche Asteroid Fields base of Kata. After Nico left Fett Clan and joined Kata Clan, the fleet became Kata's newest naval forces alongside its Keldabe-class Cruiser.
Known military operations[]
Siege of Jasier[]
After Jasier had been recolonized, Fett took a detachment of the UIRF Fleet and the army's best troops to jasier in order to conquer the world for the UIRF. The planet's civilians and jedi fell quickly under the overwhelming might of the UIRF military, as the troops raised a UIRF banner on the top of the jedi temple and erected a giant golden statue of Nico in front of the temple. After a rebel attack that destroyed the statue as well as a jedi-led attack against Nico's clan on Roche, Kata'alor Cayce Urriah and the rest of Kata joined Nico in the occupation the world. Kata and the UIRF detonated a bomb at the center of the Jasier jedi Order Temple, as well as burned the forests of the world to destroy rebel hideouts. A POW camp for the jedi and rebels was built by the UIRF around the remains of the JJO Temple, and a surrender document was drafted up and signed by the remains of JJO and the militia.
